Sharing Your Catholic Faith Story coming soon!

I didn’t realize in 2012 when I created the website Joy Alive in our Hearts — JoyAlive.net — that I was taking my first step toward learning to share my story. And that it would lead to publishing a book on evangelization.

I designed JoyAlive.net as a forum to share in celebrating the joy of Jesus as a way to evangelize. I offered this website as a touchstone for people like you when you need inspiration, encouragement, or motivation – and a place to share the Joy Alive in your heart with others who need hope.

Participation grew through contributions of stories, comments, reposting on other sites and social media, and suggestions. People in the network were enthusiastic about sharing what God is doing in their lives to renew and continually convert them.

Sharing Your Faith Story DVD

In 2015, I created the DVD, Sharing Your Faith Story, a three-part seminar for evangelization, for an online conference for women. In this DVD I demonstrated how to evangelize by telling our faith stories by sharing my conversion story. Here’s a short excerpt from the DVD:

The DVD sparked a series of live talks, workshops, and retreats that continue to evangelize many. These presentations, in turn, showed me the need for a book of tools, tips, and testimonies based on my experiences and those of others that benefited from my presentations.

Tools, Tips, and Testimonies

The book title Sharing Your Catholic Faith Story: Tools, Tips, and Testimonies defines the motivation, methods, and models needed to craft your Catholic story. The book is in two parts. In Part One, I share my conversion story and demonstrate how to share your faith story of conversion, religious vocation, renewal or return to Catholicism. Part Two brings you the testimonies of 30 Catholics who reveal the God-moments of joy that changed their lives forever.

Always be ready

This captivating combination delivers a one-volume awe-inspiring treasure to rouse the hearts of courageous readers who dare to become the new witnesses of the new evangelization. May Saint Peter’s encouragement become our mission of evangelization:

Always be ready to give an explanation to anyone who asks you a reason for your hope, but do it with gentleness and reverence. (1 Peter 3:15,16)
